Grounded In First Responder Experience
Michaela is a former Police Officer, a Registered Psychotherapist, and the Clinical Director and Owner of MRG Counselling and Clinical Education.
Her work focuses on First Responders and others who are dealing with trauma, Occupational Stress Injuries, and the long term effects of chronic stress.
Michaela’s experience as a First Responder shapes everything she does clinically. She understands the culture, the expectations, and the unwritten rules of First Responder communities.
She is part of this world professionally and personally and is married to a First Responder. She has spent years working directly with First Responders in a clinical setting.
